Terms and Conditions
1. Services Provided
Rank on the Map provides the following services to independent gyms:1. Local SEO Optimisation – audit website, on-page keyword optimisation, improve page titles meta dessciptions and headers, and competitor analysis.2. Google Business Profile (GBP) Optimisation – setup or optimisation, photo and post management, review guidance, and analytics monitoring.3. Website Conversion Optimisation – improve website layout and speed, CTA optimisation, mobile responsiveness, speed optimisation, and content recommendations.4. Optional Add-On Services – additional location pages, blog content creation, review management and website edits. These services are discussed at the consultation.Detailed descriptions of each service are available on our website.
2. Client Responsibilities
To deliver services effectively, the client must:Provide full access to their website backend, Google Business Profile, and any other necessary platforms.Supply accurate information about their business, including address, contact details, class schedules, and promotions.Respond to Rank on the Map communications in a timely manner.Ensure any content, images, or media supplied to Rank on the Map is owned by the client or appropriately licensed.Failure to provide required access or information may delay results and will not constitute a breach by Rank on the Map.
3. Payment Terms
One-off service payments must be made in full prior to service delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.Monthly retainers are billed at the end of each month and are recurring until cancelled by either party with notice (see Section 5).Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods.Late payments will result in monthly services not being carried out in the next month.
4. Service Duration & Termination
One-off services: service is considered complete once deliverables have been provided to the client.Monthly retainer services: services continue until the client provides 30 days’ written notice to terminate.Rank on the Map reserves the right to terminate services immediately if:● The client violates these Terms & Conditions● Payments are consistently late or not made● Access or cooperation required for service delivery is withheld
5. Cancellation & Refunds
One-off services may be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no significant work has begun.Monthly retainers may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.Refunds for partial months or completed work will not be issued.Any work completed prior to cancellation remains the property of Rank on the Map until payment is received.
6. Intellectual Property
Rank on the Map retains ownership of any proprietary tools, methodologies, or materials used to deliver services.The client retains ownership of all original content, images, and media they provide.Content created specifically for the client (copy, reports, recommendations) becomes the client’s property once full payment has been made.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep all sensitive information confidential, including business data, analytics, strategies, and login credentials.Rank on the Map will not share client information with third parties unless required by law or with client consent.
8. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation are efforts-based services, not guarantees. Rank on the Map does not guarantee specific rankings on Google or other search engines.Rank on the Map is not responsible for external factors that affect rankings, including:● Google algorithm changes● Competitor actions● Changes to the client’s website outside of Rank on the Map’s workTo the maximum extent permitted by law, Rank on the Map excludes liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost revenue or profits.
9. Communication
All official communication will occur via email, phone call or agreed messaging platforms.Rank on the Map will respond to inquiries within 2 business days.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the relevant Australian state or territory.
11. Amendments
Rank on the Map reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.Clients will be notified of material changes via email or website updates. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Acceptance
By engaging with Rank on the Map, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledges understanding of the services, responsibilities, and limitations outlined above.
